During my studies I could gather multiple experiences in social media marketing. As a student I have been involved in different projects and I’m a voluntary member in my university’s Snapchat and Instagram account. During a 6-months internship at an online travel agency in Munich I could extend my level of knowledge in online marketing, branding and social media.
During a university project, my and a small team developed an Instagram strategy for the German radio station Radio Berg.
During my internship in Munich I worked for the online travel agency „weg.de“ and was responsible for branding and online marketing with particular focus on social media. My tasks included among others:

While studying media communication and journalism, I could work on great university projects to gather practical experiences. Some university courses were designed to extend our practical knowledge, in others we learned theoretical background. As a voluntarily member of our university’s Instagram and Snapchat team, I got the chance to work on different projects and attend different events to cover.
My work included among others:
- attending the trade fair DMEXCO for digital marketing and advertising to film Instagram stories and report about the fair
- planning and implementing an advent calendar on Instagram with focus on sustainability, yoga and veganism
- helping to create our university’s annual magazine “emjott”
- planning and interviewing contact persons
- writing articles
- designing the layout
- planning the cover shoot
